Our search option offers you the possibility to search for a single string of words or a multiple string of words.
Single-String Search
For this option it is necessary to put the string in quotation marks. The search option will check all literature
for the occurrence of the expression between the quotation marks. In this case the Boolean option has no function.
Please put a blank after the start and before the end quotation mark if the expression is a single word.
For example if you want to know in which documents you can find the passage John 3:16 the search expression
is: " John 3:16 ".
Multiple-String Search
If you don't use quotations the search machine will check the appearance of one of more words in all our texts.
Each word is separated by a blank. Here it is also important to choose the right Boolean option.
For example if you want to know which texts contain the word John and the expression 3:16 you must type in
John 3:16 and select the Boolean option and. If you search for texts which contain either John
or 3:15 you must take the Boolean option or.
After you have received the result from our server, please click on the title of the document you wish to view.
After the whole document is loaded please use the search function of your browser to find the expression in the
corresponding document.
