How can we Know the Truth of the Gospel

This article treats three different subjects:
a) The fatherhood of God: Christians do not believe that Christ is the son of God from a sexual relationship with a woman, but they believe that He is the son of God by way of generation out of Godīs own divine being, i.e. by being "Word of God and Spirit from him".
b) The infallibility of the Bible: If the Bible truly would have been corrupted, then God would be weak and unable to keep His word from the interference of wrongdoers. Accordingly He would have no authority or power to control the universe.
c) The crucifixion of Christ: Christ came voluntarily to give himself for mankind on the cross. This way God showed His love to sinful humanity. Christ could have evaded the cross and gone back to heaven from where he came, instead of having somebody else be crucified in His place. But out of love for us He took death on the cross on himself for our sins.

No Distortion in the Torah and the Gospel

The Bible is the Word of God and was not changed or abrogated. This is true for its doctrines, its truths and its ethical teachings. Neither before the time of Muhammad nor after his times was the text of the Bible tampered with. The testimony of the Qur'an endorses this fact.

The Infallibility of the Torah and the Gospel

The Bible is infallible and has not been distorted. This is the witness of the Qur'an. God himself, in his wisdom, watched over its revelation, documentation and preservation in succeeding generations. This is confirmed by the following points: the inspiration, the prophets, the apostles, the succession of the apostles, the ancient copies, archaeology and the testimony of the Qur'an.

Christ is mentioned 93 times in the Qur'an. These verses assure us of Christ's divine attributes. We can see these in his infallibility, his miracles, his sonship, his divinity and his human nature. The Bible also assures of the nature of God.
